The coolest totebag ever

My pal Paul Schifino, who hired me to create an image for the Pittsburgh Public Theater’s As You Like It, sent me this terrific tote bag made out of the recycled banners and billboards.

UPDATE! Laura is the lady who created this wonderful tote bag. You can see more of her work here.

  1. You are welcome, Johnny!

  2. Hi John! I just thought I’d jump in and say… I made that bag! So glad that you like it. I have a craft blog (admittedly, it’s pretty stupid) and want to link back to this in my next post. That cool?

(If you want to check out some past tote bags, here’s one post that has a bunch: http://craftknackandcheese.wordpress.com/2011/09/19/vinyl-remix-update-with-more-photos/)

    • I’m so glad you checked in here, Laura! The tag on my bag says only ‘handmade in Pittsburgh.’ You do beautiful work—and how nice to keep that plastic from winding up in a land fill.
